If I Had a Snowy Owl

If I had a Snowy Owl

I would watch it soar above the cold crystal white snow

Its wings would silently flap above

A white blanket in a winter forest.

I would watch it fly over a colorful rainbow.

It would have white silky wings with black speckly spots.

I would fly on its wing tips into the starry night sky

And then into a snowy dark and green forest.

If I had a Snowy Owl.

If I had a Snowy Owl

His eyes would sparkle in the silver moonlight

While looking for its prey

It would fly beside me as my friend

If I had a Snowy Owl
